Best Bars & Restaurants in SoHo
Gorgeous. Expensive. Cobblestone chic.
Cast-iron architecture, high-end shopping, and trendy restaurants in a stunning historic district.
What Makes SoHo One of the Best Neighborhoods in NYC
“Cast iron facades, cobblestone streets, and credit card limits being tested daily”
SoHo is the most photogenic neighborhood in Manhattan and it knows it. The cast-iron buildings are stunning, the cobblestone streets are cinematic, and every corner has been used as a backdrop for a fashion shoot, a music video, or someone's engagement photos. Yes, it's become a luxury shopping district. Yes, the artists got priced out. But the restaurants below Broome Street are still incredible, and walking these blocks on a weeknight when the stores close is pure magic.
SoHo (South of Houston) is where fashion, art, and architecture collide. Cast-iron buildings house luxury boutiques, trendy restaurants, and art galleries. Cobblestone streets are perpetually crowded with shoppers, tourists, and influencers. The dining scene is upscale-casual—farm-to-table spots, wine bars, international cuisine. Nightlife skews sophisticated. It's expensive, sometimes pretentious, but undeniably gorgeous. Weekend afternoons feel like a fashion show. If you want to see and be seen while eating excellent food in beautiful spaces, SoHo delivers.
A Saturday that starts with brunch on a cobblestone street, winds through galleries and boutiques, and ends with cocktails at a candlelit French bistro
The best SoHo restaurants are below Broome. The tourists stop at Prince. Keep walking.
SoHo is known for
Local lingo: “SoHo is a shopping neighborhood that pretends to be an art neighborhood. We love it anyway.”

We come to SoHo every time we're in the city. The food is consistently great and the vibe is just different from the more touristy neighborhoods. It feels real.
Date night in SoHo was perfect. Cocktails at a low-key bar, dinner at a place we found on Moodap, and a walk through the neighborhood after. Couldn't have planned it better.
Brought the whole group here for a birthday and we had the best time. Bounced between a few spots — no covers, no dress codes, no attitude. Just a solid night.
I used to overlook SoHo but it's quickly become one of my favorite neighborhoods. The restaurants punch way above their weight and it's never as crowded as downtown.
