How licensing works

  1. Discovery call

    We talk through your needs, use case, and requirements. A no-pressure conversation to see whether Moodap licensing fits your organization.

  2. Custom proposal

    We write a proposal with pricing, timeline, and scope, including technical specifications, support terms, and an implementation plan.

  3. Contract & onboarding

    Once terms are agreed, we sign the licensing agreement and start onboarding, with documentation and a sandbox environment.

  4. Implementation & launch

    We work with your team on the implementation. For white-label we handle setup and customization; for API we support your integration. 4–12 weeks is typical, depending on complexity.

  5. Ongoing support

    Support, platform updates, and account management continue as set out in your agreement, with regular optimization recommendations.

What is the difference between white-label and API licensing?

White-label gives you the entire Moodap platform under your brand: your own website, logo, and colors. API licensing gives you access to our technology to integrate into your existing platform, so you keep your interface and add Moodap functionality behind it.

Can we customize the mood categories and matching logic?

Yes. Custom implementations include the ability to define your own mood taxonomies, create industry-specific categories, and adjust the matching for your use case. We work with you to understand your needs and build accordingly.

Who owns the data collected through our licensed platform?

For white-label licensing, you own the customer data generated through your platform. We keep aggregated, anonymized data for platform improvements. For API licensing, data ownership terms are negotiated based on your integration, within your data governance requirements.

What cities does Moodap currently cover?

Moodap is live in Manhattan, covering 45 neighborhoods. We are growing our venue network and planning expansion to more boroughs and cities. City expansion partnerships fast-track launches in new markets.

How long does implementation typically take?

White-label platforms: 8–12 weeks from contract to launch. API integrations: 4–8 weeks depending on complexity. Custom implementations: 12–24 weeks based on scope. Your proposal includes a detailed timeline.

What kind of support do you provide?

Support channels, hours, and response times are agreed in each licensing contract. Enterprise clients get a dedicated account manager, regular check-ins, documentation and developer resources, and onboarding and training for their team.
