Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Lead Moodap™’s technical vision as we scale from NYC to nationwide. Own the architecture, build the engineering team, and make the technical decisions that will power mood-based discovery for millions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years engineering experience, 3+ in leadership
- Experience scaling consumer web products
- Strong full-stack background (Next.js, React, Python)
- Deep knowledge of recommendation systems
- Track record building high-performing teams
- Startup experience preferred
Head of Sales & Partnerships
Build and lead our venue partnership strategy. You'll acquire 10,000+ bars, restaurants, and cafes as we expand city by city. Own the playbook that scales Moodap™ nationwide.
Requirements:
- 5+ years B2B sales or partnerships
- Experience in hospitality or local business
- Proven track record building sales processes
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Comfortable leading a team
- NYC nightlife/restaurant knowledge a plus
Sales Representatives (3-5 roles)
Hit the streets and sign up NYC's best venues. You'll visit bars and restaurants daily, pitch Moodap™, and close deals. Perfect for someone who loves nightlife and wants to build their sales career.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years sales or hospitality experience
- Comfortable walking into bars and making pitches
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- NYC knowledge essential
- Bonus: Former bartender/server/hospitality worker
Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Build the platform that matches moods to venues in 25 seconds. Own features end-to-end, from Next.js frontend to Python backend. Work directly with the CTO to scale for millions of users.
Requirements:
- 5+ years full-stack engineering
- Expert in React, Next.js, TypeScript
- Strong backend skills (Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with high-traffic consumer web apps
- Bonus: Interest in recommendation systems
Machine Learning Engineer
Train the AI that understands "cozy but not bougie" and gets it right. Build models that learn from user behavior and make our mood-matching algorithm smarter every day.
Requirements:
- 3+ years ML/AI experience
- Strong Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience with recommendation systems
- Understanding of NLP and embeddings
- Consumer product experience preferred
Product Designer
Design the experience that ends 40 minutes of scrolling. Make finding the perfect spot feel magical in 25 seconds. Own UX/UI for web and future products.
Requirements:
- 4+ years product design
- Strong portfolio with end-to-end product work
- Expert in Figma
- Mobile-first design thinking
- Consumer app experience preferred
Growth Marketing Manager
Make Moodap™ the first thing New Yorkers think of when they ask "where should we go?" Build viral loops, run paid campaigns, and own growth as we expand city by city.
Requirements:
- 3+ years growth marketing
- Proven track record scaling consumer products
- Experience with Meta, Google, TikTok ads
- Data-driven decision maker
- Bonus: NYC social scene knowledge
Content & Community Manager
Own Moodap™'s voice. Create content that makes people laugh, share, and tell their friends. Build the community on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter that turns users into evangelists.
Requirements:
- 2+ years content/social media
- Strong writing and video editing skills
- Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram
- NYC culture knowledge
- Bonus: Viral content track record
Data Analyst
Turn data into insights that drive decisions. Track conversions, venue performance, user behavior, and market trends. Build dashboards that keep the whole team informed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years data analysis
- SQL, Python, data visualization tools
- Experience with product analytics
- Ability to communicate insights clearly
- Consumer product experience preferred
Customer Success Manager
Be the voice of our venues and users. Help venues get results from Moodap™, handle user support, and build the feedback loops that make the product better.
Requirements:
- 2+ years customer success or support
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Hospitality experience a plus
- NYC knowledge helpful
Operations Manager
Keep Moodap™ running smoothly as we scale. Build processes, manage tools, coordinate across teams, and solve problems before they become problems.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years operations experience
- Experience scaling early-stage startups
- Strong organizational skills
- Tech-savvy and process-oriented
- Startup experience preferred
