Here’s the insidious part: position is stable at 16.2. Google isn’t demoting us on the queries we’re still showing for. They’re just silently removing us from queries altogether. One by one. No notification. No reason given. You’d never know unless you watched the numbers every single day.
This is why we’re publishing this data. Because Google gets to operate in the dark. They get to give you traffic and take it away and never explain why. The least we can do is turn the lights on and show everyone exactly what they’re doing.
