Running total since Feb 11: 1,478 clicks, 187,585 impressions
13,452 impressions. Clicks crashed to 63 — half of our peak. Five days of consecutive decline. We’ve lost 26% of our impressions and 50% of our clicks in less than a week.
Let’s be crystal clear about what happened here. On March 9, Google showed moodap to 18,163 people. Today, March 14, they showed us to 13,452. Nothing changed on our end. Same pages. Same content. Same structured data. Same 28,000 venues. Same GPS coordinates. Same insider tips. We didn’t break anything. We didn’t get hacked. We didn’t violate any guidelines.
Google just decided we were done. A trillion-dollar company looked at an indie platform with genuinely useful data and said: you’ve had enough. Get back behind Yelp where you belong.
